Mein Name ist Doda und ich bin eine passionierte Barbie-Sammlerin
(bevorzugt Steffie-Face). Auf DodaDolls findet ihr Fotos aus meiner
Sammlung, Puppenunikate, seltene Barbies und Accessoires, Diorama-
sowie Fashion-Inspirationen. In meinem DollFinder (Puppen-Suche)
Who's DodaDolls?
My name is Doda and I am a passionate and avid Barbie collector
(preferably Steffie mold). You can find pictures of my collection, one
of a kind doll creations, rare Barbies and accessories, as well as
diorama inspirations on my page. My DollFinder shall assist your
search for your perfect doll. I want to help you bring your dream doll
home! When I was young I only had a few Barbies since my parents could
not afford them. Some of my favourites included vintage dolls from the
70ies that my parents' friends had given us as a gift (and which had
been played with by their own children). When I was around 8 years old
I fell in love with Jewel Secrets Whitney and made a silent promise to
myself: "When I grow up, I shall get all the Barbies I always dreamed
of." Over 20 years later I can look at a small but solid collection of
boxed and unboxed Steffie mold dolls, Barbies and Fashionistas. It
gives me enormous joy to photograph and pose my hybrid dolls or create
rooms for their doll events. You can find my deboxing videos on
Youtube, which mostly show my favourite Barbie dolls, fashions,
playsets and accessoires. Let me invite you on a colourful trip into
the amazing world of DodaDolls!

BarbieLand Minis Mix Overview & Review 2025/26
Happy New Year to all of you! You can find the corresponding video on my YouTube channel:
Today I want to explore the tiny BarbieLand figures with you. I've recently started enjoying them since they were severely discounted at a local store. Presumably, the Barbie movie craze is over, with the film already being one or two years behind us. Even though the initial Barbie movie frenzy kind of mellowed down, Mattel keeps producing new mini houses and gadgets for the BarbieLand line.
I keep seeing many new products, even if only on Amazon, since not all of them even make it over to European stores. So this is a great chance for us to grab some of the older products, sometimes even at a discounted price.
BarbieLand Nail Polish Minis
Here in Europe, I found these dolls at various discounters and decided to grab as many as I could. This nail polish series includes some Fashionistas that I quite like in “real life,” and therefore they may make great little Barbies for my Barbies. This is what some collectors indeed do: they package them neatly and make miniature dolls for the dolls.
As you can see in the code overview picture below, there are three main pink shades or variants, and these are all the ones I found. There is one peachy/light one, then two stronger pinks—one darker magenta and one basic pink—and finally two variants of violet.
At first, I thought these nail polish minis had no number or identification code, but upon further inspection of the bottom of the package, you can find it there. So do not be fooled by the color of the nail polish packaging alone. Make sure to check for a number at the bottom of the cardboard visible through the opening in the front.
Inside, you can find a fake plastic nail brush, and then a mini doll wrapped in a tiny poly bag. Some of the dolls are painted quite well; only sporadically the faces are wonky, and most of them are quite nicely done considering the size. Rarely, the dolls may look a bit haunted if their eyes are painted on too big.
My standard pink nail polish one was hiding a classic blonde Barbie in a pink dress inside.
I have to admit, after all this recent diversity in Mattel’s dolls, I tend to be glad to sometimes find a classical blonde Barbie—especially if it is meant as a doll for my own Barbies. They will get one classical, traditional blonde Barbie for themselves.
Color Reveal Mini Series
Moving on to the Color Reveal Mini series: as you may have seen, there are two different variants. There is one with a lighter lilac lid (newer edition) and one with a dark violet lid (older edition).
They all have a number on top, for example 3004HF. So when I go hunting for another package of this specific series, I always make sure to get a different number. Usually, I love the darker dolls, but when it comes to these miniatures, I find the black dolls don’t come out that well, so I am a bit torn when it comes to unveiling the surprises.
You can see in the picture that this newer Color Reveal series has a yellow background, while the other, older Color Reveal had a different, less psychedelic background with a water theme. This way you can distinguish them by the top lid and by the outer layer of the packaging.
Inside, the dolls are covered with dissolvable metallic paint (just like their real-life-sized Barbie counterparts). They all have the same shape, so it’s very hard to distinguish beforehand which one you got, making the reveal a real surprise. Sometimes, the bottom of the shoes is visible or less covered by the paint, so you may catch a glimpse of their shoe color from below.
Unlike with the regular Color Reveal Barbies, the number codes are not corresponding to the dolls’ order at the bottom of the packaging. Additionally, I discovered something very interesting with one lilac Color Reveal package: it had one code on the lid and a different code on the bottom of the box — something to be aware of.
Pop Reveal Mini Dolls
Then there are the Pop Reveal mini dolls. With them, it’s kind of easy—but also kind of disappointing—because you can guess which one you get by analyzing the top filling and the overall color scheme. At least with the two that I own, it worked like this.
When you see for example the teal girl on the outer packaging, then that’s also who’s inside. I have her as a real Barbie; it’s the Daya doll.
I also own a Pop Reveal mini with a pink top or slime drink. Inside was a pink Barbie that is also shown on the front of the packaging. I wonder why they stopped aiming at surprising people with this series. Maybe it is another nod to the originals, where you basically know what you get, too. Although there seem to be codes floating around the internet for the Pop Reveal Minis as well, so who knows what the concept here is exactly...
My Final Thoughts on the Minis
BarbieLand minis may be small, but they open up surprisingly fun collecting possibilities—especially now, when older releases resurface at accessible prices. Whether you’re building a world for your Barbies (which I do), or enjoying the surprise & miniature concept, these lines each bring entertainment to the Barbie table.
If you’d like to see all four series up close, including the reveals and my full commentary, make sure to watch the video linked above. And if you enjoy deep dives into Barbie minis and collector observations, feel free to head to my YouTube channel and subscribe, leave a comment, or share your own BarbieLand finds & hunts for codes—I’d love to hear how you’re using these tiny dolls in your own Barbie universe! 🎀
